John Dreyer in panchina contro il Bournemouth

Dopo il recente esonero del manager Graham Westley il Preston North End ha emesso un comunicato ufficiale con il quale si annuncia che, in attesa di ingaggiare un nuovo e definitivo manager, sarà John Dreyer a guidare la squadra in occasione del match che si giocherà sabato prossimo a Deepdale contro il Bournemouth.

Un grosso in bocca al lupo a Dreyer che non avrà di certo un compito facile, ma massima fiducia in lui dato che conosce bene la squadra avendo assistito Westley durante il suo periodo a Deepdale.

E' invece ufficiale la partenza di Dino Mmaria.

Questo il comunicato ufficiale dal quale si può anche notare la decisa intenzione da parte del Club di ingaggiare un nuovo manager:

He has agreed to take temporary charge of first team affairs after the departure of manager Graham Westley on Wednesday.

However, the Club can confirm that first team coach Dino Maamria has left the Club with immediate effect and the Club would like to place on record its thanks to Dino for his efforts whilst at Deepdale and wish him all the best for the future.

John Dreyer took charge of the Lilywhites for training on Thursday and will be in charge of team selection for the clash with Eddie Howe’s table-toppers and until a new manager is appointed.

The Club will now begin its process to find a permanent replacement for Graham Westley and will not make any further announcement until this process is complete.

Pur avendo fiducia in Dreyer restiamo comunque ansiosi di conoscere il nome del nuovo manager: serve un manager di esperienza, con un carattere forte con il quale si possa finalmente costruire un ciclo duraturo e vincente.

I nomi che si fanno sono tanti e in un recente sondaggio sul forum dei tifosi del PNE (Pne OnLine) i manager più "desiderati" sono Owen Coyle, Symon Grayson, Gareth Ainsworth e Graham Alexander.

Non sappiamo quali siano i progetti del Club, ma attendiamo impazienti di conoscere il nome dell'uomo che dovrà portarci alla salvezza e ridare entusiasmo e fiducia ad un ambiente che aveva ormai perso entrambi questi sentimenti.
