In seguito alle polemiche seguite alla sconfitta di Sheffield il Chairman Ridsdale ha fatto un comunicato stampa attraverso il quale dice che il Club non affronterà più pubblicamente nulla che riguardi tali polemiche (in particolare ci sono state polemiche sulla tattica usata da Westley e lo stesso manager ha criticato quattro suoi giocatori che non avrebbero seguito in campo le sue direttive tattiche: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17577124)

Questo il comunicato di Ridsdale:
"Immediately following Saturday's match at Sheffield Wednesday, comments were made with regard to the 'leaking of information' regarding our team and tactics.
Further to a number of meetings held within the Club today (Monday 2nd April), the Club considers that this matter has now been dealt with and we will be making no further public comment on this issue."
