"We have got to keep on working hard on the training ground and hopefully things will turn around.

"I thought in the first half we more than matched Bury, the goal we conceded from an attacking corner and inside five seconds it was in the back of our net and that separated the two sides at half time.

"In the second half we lacked thrust in attack, we started off with three strikers but we ended up playing two, with two players out wide.

"We gave Keammar Daley a run out but unfortunately he didn't create anything when he came on.

"Until we can get our noses infront the confidence seems to be taking a bashing every week.

"We didn't offer enough in the second half, we tried to getJamie Proctor from running along the line and instead upfront next to Neil Mellor to create more of a problem for Bury.

"We have got to keep on working hard on the training ground and hopefully things will turn around."

"We are in a bad vein of form, we are in relegation form and one month ago we were in promotion form "We have got to turn it around, there are many examples in this division from the past couple of seasons of teams who have started off well and have died away.

"Sheffield Wednesday last year were in second place at Christmas and all of a sudden they were in a relegation battle.

"I can't fault the Preston supporters, it is frustrating stood on the touchline knowing that this group of players are better than what they are showing, but that is confidence and belief.

"Thorsten Stuckmann is a good goalkeeper and since he has joined the Club he has been a shining light.

"We need nine or ten shining lights every week but unfortunately we are only getting one or two."

"I am disappointed for the fans, "We brought a massive number along with us, it was a disappointing day for everybody.

"I thought we did some good things in the first half, we looked completive however scoring the first goal is vitally important.

"We should have done better from the corner, we didn't win the second header which gave them the chance to hit us on the break.

"That shouldn't happen, we shouldn't concede a goal when it is one man versus two defenders and a goalkeeper.

"Our final ball was disappointing in the second half, we managed to get in some great areas but we don't deliver the final pass.

"That comes with confidence, when we were playing well we would have scored"

"We have lost again and it is hard to take, We have to keep on going and believing in what we do, the manager opted to go with the most experienced side that he could and up until a point it worked.

"There is no reason why we should start feeling sorry for ourselves, you can't do that in football.

"You can't hide the fact that we have lost today and everybody assumes we should come to places like Bury and win.

"It is not that easy and they made it their cup final today.

"They are absolutely delighted to have beaten Preston, but that is what the players have to deal with when you are playing for a big club like Preston North End."
