Il nuovo Chairman, Ridsdale, non ha perso e tempo ed oggi ha esonerato con effetto immediato il manager Phil Brown dopo i risultati negativi degli ultimi mesi.
Temporaneamente Unsworth e Graham Alexander guideranno la squadra.

Statement From The Chairman
Preston North End Football Club announces that Phil Brown, first team manager, has today left the Club with immediate effect.
Phil Brown joined the Club in January 2011 with the objective of trying to ensure that we could maintain our status in the Championship division of the Football League.
Regrettably this did not happen and the Club were relegated to League One. Following relegation we had hoped that we would be in a position to compete for an immediate return to the Championship but after a promising start we have only won one of our last 11 league games and we are out of all three cup competitions.
Brian Horton, assistant to Phil Brown has also left the Club with immediate effect. Both Phil and Brian leave with our best wishes for the future.
Until further notice, Graham Alexander and David Unsworth will be in temporary charge of first team affairs.

Attendiamo ulteriori sviluppi e commenti, di certo una notizia che ci si poteva aspettare soprattutto dopo l'arrivo di Ridsdale.
Il Pne Gbs vuole comunque ringraziare Brown per quanto fatto ricordando anche la sua gentilezza e disponibilità dimostrata durante il mio incontro con lui a Deepdale ad agosto.
Dispiace sì, ma si doveva dare un taglio netto a questa crisi che pare non avere fine. Ridsdale è deciso e il ciò mi piace, ma la scelta del duo Unsworth - Alexander spero sia solo temporanea, perchè lo spogliatoio ha bisogno di un allenatore vero, soprattutto un motivatore che li faccia rinsavire. Ora i ragazzi non hanno scuse..
