Tra le prime perde 2 pts in casa il Cardiff che ha pareggiato solo al 91°. Anche il Leeds ha pareggiato, ma in una trasferta difficile ad Hull.

Vincono QPR, Swansea, Forest (che ha ancora 2 partite in meno!!) e Norwich.

In coda vittoria in uno scontro diretto importantissimo x il Boro, mentre perde ancora in casa lo Sheffield.

Purtroppo è arrivata una sconfitta davvero pesante in uno scontro importantissimo.

La situazione di classifica è sempre più preoccupante...

Nel Pne hanno giocato in attacco Ellington e Clarke, mentre a centrocampo ha esordito Ashbee.

MERCATO: ARRIVA EDDIE JOHNSON IN PRESTITO

Un altro attaccante per il North End, dopo Ellington e Clarke!

Si tratta dello statunitense Eddie Johnson che arriva a Deepdale in prestito fino al termine della stagione dal Fulham.

Prima di essere acquistato dai Cottagers, Johnson ha giocato nella MLS, dal 2001 al 2006 nel Dallas FC segnando 24 gol in 84 presenze e vincendo il premio di miglior giovane nel 2001, e dal 2006 al 2008 dal Kansas City segnando  17 gol in 43 partite.

Il Fulhan lo comprò dal Kansas City nel 2008 ed in quella stagione al Craven Cottage ha collezionato 19 presenze.

Nelle stagioni successive ha giocato in prestito al Cardiff e all'Aris, tornando quest'estate al Fulham in Premier League giocando 11 partite prima di trasferirsi a Preston.

Sicuramente il Club e Phil Brown hanno dimostrato di voler fare di tutto per cercare di ottenere la salvezza con gli arrivi di Ellington, Linganzi, Ashbee, Clarke ed, appunto, Johnson, oltre a resistere alle offerte pervenute per i migliori giocatori della squadra.

Bisogna crederci, bisogna provarci fino alla fine a partire dalla partita di questa sera contro il Barnsley.
