Dopo un primo tempo a reti inviolate e durante il quale il PNE è stato costretto a sostituire Maguire dopo soli 7 minuti di gioco, nella ripresa i Whites hanno sbloccato il risultato con un rigore di Whiteman, raddoppiando poi con Woodburn e realizzando il terzo gol con il giovane O'Neil.
